Caring about you. Caring about your home.

Are you thinking of relocating to a higher quality of life, away from the concrete jungle? Or maybe planning your retirement to a place where you can play and experience the beauty of nature while still having the highest quality of amenities and resources?  Southern Oregon is the answer to your wishes!

What are you looking for?  Are you an outdoors person like me…..well the activities and beauty will amaze you. Hiking and biking beautiful trails for all ages and expertise, solo kayaking or guided rafting trips on the Rogue and Klamath rivers,  family or solitary camping/fishing trips, cross country and downhill skiing or…….. maybe, you just want to just relax and breathe the fresh air. The possibilities are endless.

If you, are saying to yourself, no that is not for me, I like culture, the arts and fine dining………. Keep reading, it is here, experience the world class theaters like Shakespeare Festival and The Britt or one of the more intimate venues.  There are wonderful choices for fine dining, art galleries or wine tasting at one of the numerous vineyards.    Golf at one of the public or privately available courses is a must, you certainly won’t have to leave your clubs behind! History buffs will be on the scout to investigate the Oregon and Applegate trails or visiting places that were mentioned in one of those Western novels.

Ok, let’s get down to the practical every day type of thing……..we have shopping and more shopping, from boutiques to malls and everything in between, including straight from the farm organic vegetables, poultry, dairy, eggs and meats. Every possible place of worship is also available. The healthcare is diverse and well rounded, and the options and choices are all here.  We have a hospital available in close proximity no matter if you live in Ashland or the outskirts of Grants Pass.  Maybe you want alternative medicine……….you will be coming to a  place that has all kinds of choices from holistic practices to meditative healing.  I love having so many choices.

Southern Oregon’s weather is unlike other areas of the Northwest, in that the summers are sunny and warm and the winters on the valley floor are mild.  Don’t get me wrong…..we have our share of rainy days, but that allows for all the green vegetation, flowing rivers and farm fresh fruits and vegetables that keep this area so beautiful and bountiful.

Now that you know there is a place out there that you can have it all but without the traffic jams, come experience Southern Oregon and the Rogue Valley first hand.  Once you do, you just might make it your home, like I did.  Please contact me for your personal introduction to the area.
